I AM: The connection between SIGHT and VISION?

Two to look, one to see

Everywhere we look around us, we see colors reflected in our eyes, textures observed, and emotions evoked. In a world full of color, we find endless inspiration or lose ourselves in the abundance. Where should we focus? Are we creating our own unique path, or simply follow what is presented to us? Questions we all face with no right or wrong answer, only a moment to pause and reflect on what is happening in our life.

The experiences we go through don’t come purely from sight; they also rely on touch, hearing, smell, and knowledge. These senses allow us to live instinctively. What is familiar feels safe - what is new must be judged.

If we truly want to understand how the universe work, we must ask ourselves: are our senses really making the decisions? Because when our hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch are removed at this moment, we enter the realm of the true internal artist that paints our reality; The brain. Our brain is the generator of our five wonders, and has the power to fantasize about what brings us joy even in silence and darkness; The ultimate creator of our vision.

Vision is not the same as sight, and yet the two are deeply interconnected. Sight "guides" us forward, while vision determines "where" we are going. The fusion of these two superpowers forms a complex and fascinating reality.

How Important Is It to See our Vision?

For the most of us, we have a specific taste about what we like and don't like. The question is, why do we prefer curtain things above others? Everything comes from experience; what we see become observations, observations evoke thoughts and thoughts ultimately shape our opinions and choices based on prior perceptions. It’s not rocket science, yet we often forget to realize what being 'not' in the present actually does to us.

Especially in today’s world, flooded with social media, advertisements, and endless stimuli, there’s an abundance of options screaming for our attention, so much that our vision can fade without us even noticing. So even when life feels intangible, we should remember that there is always a path that leads to the light at the end of the tunnel.
